As a Drafting Technologist, the position is responsible for the production of technical drawings, 3D models, and ensuring Bill of Materials and part numbering accuracy. There will be time spent on the manufacturing floor learning the equipment and performing measurement duties.
       

Position Requirements:
• 2 Yr Technical Diploma in Mechanical Engineering Technologist or EDDT
• Knowledge of mechanical design and structural/heavy equipment fabrication
• Proven skills in Autodesk Inventor 2010, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Vault
• A strong understanding of measuring tools
• Strong as-built ability
• A powerful command of the English language (speak, read, and write) is mandatory
