We need:
HIGHLY MOTIVATED Drive Components Lead Journeyman Welder (Must hold a valid Journeyman Number)
MANDATORY Requirements:
• A Positive Attitude is the first and foremost requirement!!
• Minimum of 3 years leadership/managerial role in manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Victory Rig policies, procedures, and processes
• Experience in hydraulic and automated catwalks
• Knowledge of Victory Rigs unique rig designs
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with, and ability to train and mentor apprentices
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of oilfield equipment manufacturing and API quality standards
• Weld and Fit test will be required
• AVAILABLE FOR SHIFT WORK
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and oversee all fitting and installation of drive components; including bearings, shafts, brackets, sheaves, pulleys and gears.
• Coordinate and oversee training and mentorship with drive component staff, covering welders and labourers.
• Assisting in Safety and Quality Management audits
• Work with foreman to indentify equipment and man power requirements Assist engineering department with technical issues, including rig designs and blueprints
• Monitor and maintain the highest level of safety and efficiency within shop operations
• Successfully direct team, while meeting tight deadlines and budgetary constraints
• All other duties as assigned by Sr. Shop Foreman
