Victory Stealth Cat
![]() | Victory Stealth Cat Victory’s Stealth Cat is an advanced system for lifting equipment and tubulars from the ground up to the derrick. It is an operator-friendly and can be run remotely or manually. The Victory Stealth Cat’s unique design features allow greatly reduced noise emission and easy integration with Victory’s rig movement systems. Why choose the Victory Stealth Cat? The “stealth” in Stealth Cat refers to the advanced noise abatement features which allow this catwalk to operate in environments with stringent noise restrictions. The special features, such as the long pipe arms or V-door equipment hooks, can be customized to enable the Stealth Cat to meet your specific needs. The Stealth Cat can be fully controlled either remotely or using manual hydraulic levers. Victory’s experienced service crews are always ready to deal with any service or troubleshooting situation. | |
Key Features Noise Abatement – The shuttle uses a rubberized compound to reduce noise levels to x db @ x ft. Safety Curtain – Electronic photo-eyes interlocked with the hydraulic pump motor and hydraulic safety valve, create an invisible “curtain” which is broken when a person or piece of equipment comes between the photo-eyes. If the curtain is broken, all hydraulic equipment on the catwalk will shut down until the curtain is reset using the wireless remote control or a button on the PLC enclosure door. The safety curtain operates independently of the PLC system. ACE PLC – The advanced automation system provides numerous benefits including: Starting and stopping the hydraulic motor gradually to reduce shock to the pump at startup. Automatic control of the hydraulic cooling fan motor based on temperature feedback Allows deceleration and stop limits when the sled reaches the drill floor or is returned to its home position Equipped with a small digital display for reporting operating values and fault conditions. Pipe Arms – The 20’ length of the pipe arms accommodates more tubulars than other catwalks with shorter arms. The Stealth Cat can also be equipped with hydraulic leveling rams and rollers to accommodate Victory rig movement systems.
